TDFA First Division League: Sports House of India, Ulwe beat Red Devils Ambernath
Sports House of India, Ulwe beat Red Devils Ambernath 2-0 in a thrilling derby match in the TDFA (Thane District Football Association) First Division League match at Palava Dombivali on Tuesday, 31 May 2022.
The league is being organized after a gap of almost 2 years due to the COVID-19 restrictions under the banner of the Thane District Football Association.
After losing the opening 2 matches in the league, the young and energetic players of Sports House of India bounced back and performed very well throughout the game and won the derby by scoring 2 goals against Red Devils Ambernath.
“As a planned town Ulwe has become a wonderful residential place for many and to uplift the talents we have started this philanthropic work”, said Mr. Rakesh Barve, coach, Sports House Of India, Ulwe.
“In the long run, we would like to see some of our boys are playing at the international level”, added Mr. Barve.
The youngsters of both the teams showcased their talent and did very well right from the start of the match but the hard-working Sports House of India created more goal-scoring chances than Red Devils Ambernath.
Sports House of India took the lead in the 22nd minute of the first half. The goal was scored by the young and excellent forward Imaad Mapkar. He again extended his side’s lead and made it 2-0.
At the end of 60 minutes of regulation time, Sports House of India won the match by 2-0 against their arch-rivals Red Devils.
