Sellebrity held DK Pharma to a 1-1 draw picking up another crucial point as they climb away from relegation Zone in Mumbai Premier League

Ayub Qureshi’s first half goal was cancelled out by an injury time penalty that as both Sellebrity FC and DK PHarma played out a 1-1 draw

In the early stages, Sellebrity’s Manish Gautam received a stellar pass in the right wing, before moving in attack showcasing promise, however an alert DK Pharma’s defender thwarted the attacking play with a commendable interception. The narrative shifted towards Sellebrity when Ayub collected a skillfully maneuvered shot through the left wing executed brilliantly by his teammate, which concluded in a simple tap-in goal, establishing early lead at 1-0.

DK Pharma’s Skipper P Anand countered with a threatening left-wing play, testing the Sellebrity keeper Balaram Das, who responded with a remarkable save. Moments later, a defensive masterclass unfolded as Sellebrity’s defender prevented a potential goal, when the Balaram came off his line to collect the ball but was completely beaten by DK Pharma’s J Haokip, However an alert Sellebrity’s defender thwarted this attempt, showcasing amazing resilience and skill.

The first half concluded with an penalty being awarded to DK Pharma, which was flawlessly converted by DK Pharma’s H Haokip, leveling the score at 1-1 at the conclusion of first half.

DK Pharma’s Lawrence initiated the second half with a promising left-wing play, setting up a golden opportunity for J Haokip, whose shot narrowly missed the target. DK Pharma’s persistent attack saw an attempt hitting the bar, leaving Sellebrity unscathed. In another close call, DK Pharma’s S Tuboi executed a precise cross shot, but substitute Jatin failed to capitalize on this opportunity, sending the subsequent shot over the bar.

The concluding moments saw the attacking prowess of DK Pharma as they tried every trick in the book to beat Sellebrity and win the game, but they were met by a resilient and rock solid Sellebrity defence who held them at bay disallowing each and every attempt made by them.

Despite close scoring opportunities and attacking play by both sides, both teams were unable to break the deadlock, resulting in a 1-1 draw as the match concluded.
