SRS Sporting inch closer to qualifications with two wins in a row while in group C, Mother Teresa Foundation and Maurya Youngstars start of play-off stage with wins

Play-off Group B:
After a convincing 2-0 win over Worli Sports Club, SRS sporting faced high flying Silver Innings FC, who came in to the game on the back of dominating 8-1 win over Das FA. However it was the former that came up triumphs edging Silver Innings by a solitary goal, Tanmay Puro’s 35th minute strike turning out to be the difference between the two sides. With two wins in two games, SRS find themselves at the top spot with six points while silver Inning slip to second spot with points in 2 games.
Group B: Silver Innings 0 – 1 SRS Sporting (Tanmay Puro 35’)

Play-off Group C:
In the first game of Play-off group C, Mother Teresa Foundation put on an impressive display to outplay Castle Boys by 2 goals. Nigel Parlekar opened the scoring in the 24th minute before Bhavesh Koli doubled the lead in the second half to pick out an important three points. In other fixture, a late strike from Akshay Aggarwal sealed three points for Maurya Youngstars FA against O’sheish FA as the game ended at 1-0 in favour of the former.
