Central bank of India to conduct trials for upcoming MDFA Elite Division season
MDFA Elite Division team Central Bank of India will be conducting fresh football trails for their upcoming 2019-20 campaign
Central Bank of India had an excellent last season where they ended up finishing 3rd in the final MDFA Elite Division standings. The team finished at the fourth spot in the regular MDFA Elite Division (Corporate) league table to qualify for the play-off round.
In the play-off, Central bank cleaned up all three opponents to top the Play-off group A including beating eventual winners Air India, to enter semi-finals. After years of mid-table finishes, Central Bank of India’s dream run of 2018-19 season finally came to an end in the last four round where they went down 0-3 to Mumbai customs. Finally, CBI edged U Mumba FC in the 3rd place encounter to finish off the season on a high.
The team will be looking to repeat the magic of last season and are now looking out for players who can help them achieve the same or go one step further.
