Head Coach Igor Stimac names 35 probables for the training camp ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2022 qualifiers against Oman and Qatar

Wingers Halicharan Narzary and Ashique Kuruniyan make a return to the national fold after missing out on Kings Cup and Hero Intercontinental Cup due to injuries. Both last played for the national team back in January during the AFC Asian Cup 2019. Interestingly, Michael Soosairaj and Jackichand have been dropped from the probable squad.

Coach Igor Stimac will be hoping for the training camp to provide him with defensive solutions ahead of India’s opening game of 2022 Qatar World Cup qualifiers in Guwahati on September 4. India are grouped together with gulf nation Oman, neighbours Afghanistan and Bangladesh along with 2019 AFC Asian Cup winners Qatar in Group E of the FIFA World Cup 2022 Asian qualifiers.

The list of players is as follows:

GOALKEEPERS: Gurpreet Singh Sandhu, Amrinder Singh, Kamaljit Singh, Vishal Kaith
