Sanchit's hattrick and Sahil's brace dazzle for MH Oranje FC in 8-0 triumph against PIFA FC

Sanchit’s hat-trick and Sahil’s brace lit up MH Oranje FC’s impressive 8-0 victory against PIFA FC. Eshaan Singh, Mohd Asad, and Aimar Adam also contributed with a goal each, guiding MH Oranje FC to a resounding win on Tuesday afternoon.

In pursuit of three crucial points, both teams took the field with high spirits, each aiming to maximize their gains from the fixture. MH Oranje FC, coming off a draw in a tense clash against Hope United, faced PIFA FC, who suffered a 0-4 defeat against Iron Born in their previous encounter.

The impact player of the season for MH Oranje FC, Sanchit Singh, wasted no time as he surged into an attack, finding the net in the 3rd minute. Mohd Asad accompanied him with an effortless goal in the 21st minute, and despite relentless ball possession, MH Oranje FC couldn’t add to the tally in the first half. Courtesy of Sanchit and Asad, MH Oranje FC led comfortably 2-0 at halftime.

The second half witnessed tactical changes illuminating MH Oranje FC’s dominance. Substitutes Sahil Bhokare, Harsh Utekar, and Hersh Rall altered the game’s dynamics.

Sahil, coming off the bench, made an instant impact, dribbling past defenders in the 51st minute to slot the ball into the near post. The highlight came in the 59th minute when Eshaan unleashed a curler from 25 yards into the top right corner. MH Oranje FC maintained fluid ball movement, capitalizing on opportunities.

In the 75th minute, Harsh Utekar from the left wing skillfully dribbled past his marker to set up Sahil for a brace. Sanchit added to his tally in the 87th minute, securing a brace with a close-range shot. In the 90th minute, Sanchit’s precise through ball found Aimar Adam, who confidently scored to the left of the keeper to make it 7-0.

Later on in stoppage time, Sanchit completed a well-deserved hat-trick with a low and powerful shot from outside the box, sealing a remarkable finish. The final five minutes saw a commendable flurry of three goals, propelling MH Oranje FC to a convincing 8-0 victory over PIFA.

MH Oranje FC coach expressed, “It was a one-sided affair; the first half was rather dull, but the momentum shifted with a few changes at halftime that opened the floodgates. Ishant Ranna stood out as our best player in this game by a distance, and kudos to Pratik Jadhav for keeping a clean sheet. The team is coming together, and we look forward to the next game.”

Before the match, MH Oranje FC held the 8th spot in the table. With this thumping win, they now climb to the 4th spot, keeping their title race alive with 20 points in 9 games and 6 games in hand in the season. Meanwhile, PIFA FC, currently second-last in the table with fewer games left, will look to end their season on a positive note and survive relegation.
