Arif Sheikh’s hat-trick leads Atlanta FC to 5-0 victory over Bombay Muslims SC

In the MFA Elite Premier League’s 45th match, Atlanta FC continued their season’s perfect start with a 5-0 victory over Bombay Muslims SC.

Arif Sheikh was the star of the show for Atlanta FC, scoring a first-half hat-trick to lead his team to victory. He got the scoring started early, finding the back of the net in the 8th minute with a well-placed shot. He doubled Atlanta’s lead just five minutes later, scoring again in the 13th minute.

Sheikh completed his hat-trick near the end of the first half, scoring his third goal in the 45th minute. At halftime, Atlanta FC held a commanding 3-0 lead over Bombay Muslims SC. Arif is now placed 2nd in top scorers chart with 7 goals alongside Rinaldo Fernandes of The Orange FC.

In the second half, young Johnson Mathews scored his first goal of the season, adding to Atlanta’s lead. Around the hour mark, captain Himanshu Patil scored his fourth goal of the season to complete the scoring for Atlanta.

The dominant performance from Atlanta saw them remain unbeaten in the league and move up to third spot in the league table, four points behind the leaders with two games in hand. Bombay Muslims struggled throughout the game and suffered their fourth loss in six games. The final score was Ambernath United Atlanta FC 5-0 Bombay Muslims SC.
