GMSC and Pro Track SC (Silver Innings FC) settle for a 1-1 draw

In the MFA Elite Premier League’s 41st match, GMSC and Pro Track SC (Silver Innings FC) played to a 1-1 draw on a pleasant Thursday afternoon

The match got off to a fast start, with GMSC taking the lead in the 9th minute through a goal from midfielder Shreyas Vatekar, whose strike beat Pro Track SC’s goalkeeper, Rohan More.

Pro Track SC responded quickly, equalizing in the 35th minute through a goal from Kushal Makwana striking it past GMSC’s keeper, Yash Jadhav. The score remained 1-1 at halftime.

In the second half, the match became more physical, with the referee issuing four yellow cards. Vincent Rayan of GMSC went into the referee’s book in the 54th minute, before goal scorer Kushal Makwana of Silver Innings FC was shown a yellow card in the 53rd minute. Later on, Shaunak Ghorpade of GMSC received a yellow card in the 79th minute, before Siddharth Koli of Silver Innings FC was shown a yellow card in the 86th minute by referee Kshitij Tambe.

Despite both teams’ efforts to find a winner, the match ended in a 1-1 draw. The match was attended by 100 spectators. The final score was GMSC 1-1 Pro Track SC (Silver Innings FC).

With that first draw of the campaign for both sides, GMSC are now currently placed 5th in the league table with 10 points from six games while Silver Innings moved a place up to the 12th spot.
