Maryland United come from behind to snatch a late win off Kajupada FC, while in group B, Tiger Sports in strong contention for semi-final after a draw against Myrmidons Sporting

In a must win game, Myrmidons Sporting failed to break the deadlock against Tiger Sports as they got knocked out of the semi-final race. Meanwhile the 0-0 draw has taken Tiger Sports to 8 points in the group B table and although the club is currently placed comfortably at the 2nd Semi-final spot, a win would have sealed the spot today.

The game began with Tiger Sport dominating the possession. Early in the game, Tiger Sports came close to breaking the deadlock only for Myrmidons Jay Suryavanshi pulling off some acrobatic saves to keep the score goalless. Throughout the game, Tiger Sports failed to breech a resolute defence of Myrmidons Sporting and Jay between the sticks as the game ended 0-0. For his excellent performance between the sticks and marshalling the defence expertly Jay Suryavanshi was awarded the Man of the match.
