Agree or disagree, this Real Madrid team know how to win games even if they are playing bad. Liverpool started the game Gegenpressing. They continuously pressurized Real Madrid to commit flaws. But, boy, it was Real Madrid. They know how to play.
They slowly took the game, orchestrated the play from the middle. In the initial stages of the game, Kroos dropped into the defence whenever Marcelo surged upwards, making sure they’re bombproof during counterattacks.
Modric performed a sublime performance, helping Real Madrid win the midfield battle. With his exhilarating performance, he outclassed the Liverpool midfield and supplied the attackers with balls!

Raphael Varane and Sergio Ramos contained Liverpool’s attack and didn’t let the opponents have open chances to exploit. Keylor displayed a splendid show, making some incredible saves. Casemiro too was a calming presence in the Real Madrid midfield.
Benzema and Bale, both were impressive, while Ronaldo had a quiet game, his off-the-ball-movements forced Liverpool to depend on long balls.
