Hansraj Morarji pip Utpal Sanghvi; Our Lady of Health cruise past S.M Shetty International HS

October 2015, Three Mumbai Schools Sports Association U14 matches was played at Goan Sports Association, Churchgate. D.Y Patil High School (Worli) and St Theresha High School (Bandra) encounter ended in a stalemate, the second clash between Hansraj Morarji (Andheri) and Utpal Sanghvi (A) (Vile Parle) where the latter narrowly overcomes Hansraj 1-0 and in the last match of the day Bunts Sangha’s SM Shetty International School lost 3-0 to Old Lady of Health School.
In the very first match, both the schools DY Patil and St Theresha cancelled each other out. Yanshu Kothari, Manan Dedhia and the captain himself, Shaunak Shah were impressive for D.Y Patil High School.
Shaunak created enough chances for the boys from Worli based school but gritty defending from St Theresha proved to be solid.
Suraj Patil, Shees Shaikh and Hamza Ansari were impressive for St Theresha, at one moment their Skipper Suraj almost found the net when his effort just went over the bar. Both the school could have won the match, although it proved to be a neck to neck tie.
In the second match, Utpal Sanghvi (A) defeated Andheri outfit Hansraj Morarji 1-0 where Kyle D’Souza goal in first half proved to be the decider.
Kyle’s impressive footwork left past two defenders of Hansraj Morarji where he scored the only goal of the match.
It proved to be enough for Utpal Sanghvi as they marches on.
In the last match, Our Lady of Health School easily went past Bunts Sangha’s S.M Shetty International School 3-0 despite of having less ball possession than Our Lady of Health School.
Brace from Omkar Katre and a first half strike from Ronaldo Pereira sinks Bunts Sangha’s S.M Shetty International School.
One of Omkar’s strike was a thunderbolt where his effort went right into top corner.
Our Lady of Health School dominated the whole match and never fell short of their coach Albert Braganza’s expectations.
