J.S.W Steel thrash FC Khar Sporting

In a one sided affair, J.S.W Steel thrashed FC Khar Sporting 4-0 to possibly start their domination in the 2nd division of Mumbai District Football Association (MDFA), which held at Xaviers football ground, Parel.

A heroic performance from Omprakash Jaiswar was a difference between the two sides as the J.S.W Steel’s playmaker assisted not once, not twice but thrice and also had his name on score sheet.

The first half saw J.S.W Steel dominating FC Khar Sporting as they had majority of the possession and along with that their defence and attack looked sharp too.
With proper organizing at the back J.S.W Steel completed their goal of not leaking any goals at the back of the net.

With just seconds remaining for the first half to end, J.S.W Steel’s playmaker Omprakash Jaiswar, fancied his luck from range which agonisingly went past the goalkeeper and stroked the top right corner of the net, which broke the deadlock and gave J.S.W Steel a 1-0 lead at the stroke of half time.

The second half was much more of surprise, though J.S.W Steel dominated FC Khar Sporting in first half, the boys in black did defended well and was on a course of giving J.S.W Steel a neck to neck fight but Omprakash Jaiswar splendid performance changed the whole course of the match.

Goal scorer, Omprakash Jaiswar assisted all the goals in second half, two from corners and one from free kick. From the first resulting corner Dilip Sahani scored a beautiful header to increase the lead by two goals, from the second corner Arvind Pal poked his effort into the goal to make it 3-0. The job was done and dusted inside twenty minutes of second half.

The final goal came on 60th minute when a free kick from Omprakash Jaiswar got deflected by his own teammate Rajesh Bind and went into the goal, making it a resounding 4-0 lead over FC Khar Sporting.
