IKF to dispense free international football exposure for children in India

India Khelo Football (IKF) is a non-profit platform aimed at providing kids from India a fair chance to pursue their dream of playing football internationally. IKF shares its vision to their audience with the tagline ‘Aap Khelo, Mauka Ham Denge’ which is intended to communicate ‘You give your best, we’ll give you the opportunity’.
In a nation with more than a billion people, it is evident that significant aspirants are vying to play internationally. Every Rahul, Rohan and Rohini in India aspires to excel on the world stage in sports.
India Khelo Football has ventured into a mission of creating a global platform for Indian boys and girls. Their motto is to create a robust system where children can excel and live their dream of becoming a professional football player. The organization aspires to make a concrete pathway that will be supported by the parents, coaches and all the stakeholders.
To achieve this goal, India Khelo Football has initiated and will regularly be organizing football tournaments throughout India. The format will comprise of tournaments happening at different states where the winners will ultimately be pitted to compete against each other.
At the national finale, the selected players will get a chance to visit Europe and will be allowed to showcase their talent in front of the European Clubs at no cost. These players will be monitored effectively by experienced international coaches. India Khelo Football has signed strategic agreements with Pro Soccer, Palamos FC and Perfect Football.
Pro Soccer Global is a unique organisation that provides football education on and off the field for children.
Palamós CF is the oldest club in Catalonia and third oldest in Spain (founded in 1898) and is a Tercera Nacional Division club based in the town of Palamos, Girona Province in Spain.
Perfect Football specializes in modern football solutions for Europe and various other countries. It is a professional football methodology developed in Spain which trains players with state of the art techniques and technologies for the game.
With help from their international partners, IKF strives to make sure that the deserving athlete gets the opportunity to showcase their talent in front of European Clubs and stand a chance of attaining a professional contract.
The first phase of zonal tournaments will begin on 16th January in Chandigarh. India Khelo Football has partnered with Chandigarh Football Association (CFA) for the operations. Speaking about the collaboration, Mr K P Singh, the president of the Chandigarh Football Association believes that this is a pathbreaking initiative.
“We are very glad to have partnered with India Khelo Football and support their vision to create an international platform for all the deserving kids who are passionate about football. Allowing the players to play abroad is like taking the next big step in the Indian football scenario. I wish all the very best to all the players and also to India Khelo Football” apprised Mr Singh.
REGISTRATION DETAILS:
Players can register themselves as a team using this LINK or they can individually register themselves using this LINK.
The players who will be registering individually will be clubbed with other players who have individually registered themselves before the fixtures start.
Chandigarh is the first step in this Pan- India tournament organized by IKF. They will be organizing tournaments in Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, Kanpur, Jammu, Hyderabad, Bangalore, and other cities.
Rohan Shinde who is the Team Manager of Sellebrity FC (Elite division), Soccer Raider (Super Divison), Maurya Foundation (2nd Division), Regal FC (3rd Division), Sellebrity Yuva FC (YPL Super Divison) will be managing the tournaments for Mumbai and Thane.
Dates are yet to be announced.
