Golden Tigers thrash Hina Royals 4-0 to stay alive; Yash Warriors end on a high

Golden Tigers produced a performance from the top drawer as they thrashed a depleted Hina Royals 4-0 to earn themselves a play-off with Hiraai Suns on Saturday.

The Tigers roared from the start, as they found themselves 2-0 up within two minutes as Sushil Kawde netted in the 2nd minute after Somesh Singh’s opener a minute earlier.

Sushil Kawde scored his second to put Golden tigers 3-0 up, before Venkatesh Srinivas rounded off a great game with a fourth in the 58th minute to complete a 4-0 rout.

In another game, Yash Warriors faced Konaark Realtors in a basement clash with both teams playing for pride. The Warriors ran out comfortable 4-1 winners.

Bhavesh Vaidya opened the scoring early for the Warriors, but they were pegged back as Shubham Patil equalized for Konaark Realtors.

The teams were level at 1-1 at half time. But the Warriors though ran riot in the second half as Tejas Raut gave them the lead immediately after the restart.

Prathamesh Kasare made sure the Warriors finish off their campaign in style as he netted a second half brace to make it a 4-1 scoreline in favour of Yash Warriors at full time.

The Warriors who played some of the best passing football in the tournament were finally rewarded with an emphatic result although it was a case of too little too late for Yash Warriors.
