Forza India Academy and Khelomore join hands to develop grassroots

Mumbai-based Football Academy, Forza India Academy, has joined hands with KheloMore with the aim to develop and grow grassroots football in India. It is quite a breakthrough for Forza India Academy, an academy launched just last year, to already have set up two big platforms for the aspiring footballers in Goregaon and Andheri.

Forza Academy believes that a footballer needs to be taught the basics along with creating a tactical awareness and building teamwork. They aim at creating a holistic footballer on and off the pitch.
Currently, they coach kids from the age groups 6-12 years old and intend to coach all age groups in the near future.

Going ahead, Forza India, in partnership with KheloMore, aims to start multiple centers across the city and play local and national tournaments to give the young Forza footballers a taste of competitive playing. One of the most important tasks on hand is to start a girls-only batch, complete with women coaches, to cater to the growing demand of girls playing football today.
