Dexter Fernandes, Faisal Shaikh, Raj Anil shine with goals as Mumbai Marines, Footie First Academy, Iron Born FC secure big margin victories in Rustomjee Yuva President League U16 fixtures

In the opening game of the day, Mumbai Marines secured a dominating 5-1 win over Athens XI courtesy of goals from Nathan Braganza, Soham Dhore, Raul Almeida and a brace from player of the match – Dexter Fernandes. Awnan Khan scored the lone goal for Athens XI

In the second encounter of the day PIFA Colaba faced Salsette FC with the latter picking up a solitary goal win as Samson Gill’s 20th minute strike turned out to be the difference between the two sides. In the Group F fixture, CFCI Hegdewar Boys picked up a comfortable 3-0 win over Sellebrity FC as Anjan Kumar, Samarth Bhande and Varun Singh were on mark for the Hegdewar Boys.

In another group F fixture of the day, riding on Faisal Shaikh’s hat-trick and goals from Egar Fernandes, Aman Vishy, Priyank Supat and Sahil Shaikh, Footie First Academy secured a crushing 7-1 win over Ummat-e-milan. Noman Mukhtsar’s reckless tackle meant the referee sending him off and Ummat playing with 10 men for most of the game. Noman Ansari struck a consolation goal for his side.

Game 4: Ummat-e-mila 1 (Noman Ansari) – 7 Footie First Academy (Faisal Shaikh – hat-trick, Egar Fernandes, Aman Vishy, Priyank Supat, Sahil Shaikh)

In group A encounter, Iron Born continued their goal scoring exploits with 4-0 win over Milan FA, as Raj Anil, following his opening day hat-trick scored another brace today. Rishab Singh and Anuj shelar chipped in with one each as Iron Born completed the 4-0 rout. In another group A encounter, CFCI (CSL) started off their campaign in the league with a confident 4-0 win over Teresarian VV
