Spring Field comeback from a goal down to beat Sellebrity 3-1

Goan Sports Association, Mumbai: On Sunday, 30th October 2016, Spring Field hosted Sellebrity in the Mumbai District Football Association (MDFA) Super Division. After going a goal down, Spring Field bounced back in the second-half to win 3-1 against Sellebrity.
An opening strike on 29 minutes from Mrudal Porab of Sellebrity faded away as the match progressed; Spring Field’s no.11 Jabin’s two goals helped to overturn the deficit, as Harsh’s goal in the 78th minute left his side with some breathing space till the full-time whistle.
Both sides shared a couple of early chances to score the opening goal early on in the first-half, but failed to force either goalkeeper into making a save. It was Sellebrity who enjoyed the opportunity of getting the breakthrough in a tight encounter. In the 29th minute, Mrudal Porab produced the game’s first goal-bound attempt to give Sellebrity the lead going into the half-time break.
Despite being a goal down at the start of the second-half, Spring Field concluded the first-45 on a positive note and managed to carry the momentum through the break. Spring Field was duly rewarded, when no.11 Jabin brought his side back into the game, scoring the equalising goal, in the timely fashion.
As the match progressed into its final quarter, Jabin stepped-up to give Spring Field the much awaited second goal on 72 minutes. Spring Field put together a series of attack in the aftermath of their second goal, scoring its third through Harsh 6 minutes later – putting the tie out of reach for Sellebrity.
By the time, referee Rajesh Kanojia blew the full-time whistle, Spring Field were comfortably ahead and in control of the proceedings, something they failed to do in the first-half of the match. For Sellebrity, it was a step back after managing a narrow 3-2 win over Father Agnel.
