From Legend to Book Seller

The Chelsea legend recently launched his autobiography “Commitment” and during an interview in the launch function he stated that the current Chelsea squad lacks leadership qualities.

Over this Jose Mourinho mercilessly slammed the Ivorian stating that “he is trying to sell books”.

The former Chelsea legend does have plans of returning to the stamford bridge in a manager capacity after he retires playing.

But his former boss has relentlessly accused his former first choice. Saying that : “When you speak because you want to sell books, I don’t read. I don’t read.

“I like good interviews. I like interviews from big guys like Didier with good journalists, newspapers or television. But this is not an interview. It was to sell books. It doesn’t disappoint me. It was just the reality. It was just to sell books. I can analyse Didier’s interview with pleasure, but not Didier selling books.”

The awfully outspoken Chelsea Manager had another victim in his current first choice striker Costa as well. In a recent interview he stated that “As a striker he must read; you have to play not when you have the ball, but when others have the ball. You have to anticipate things and read the game faster. Everything is an accumulation [of confidence]. You’re not on fire again just because you’ve scored a goal against Norwich. It’s a process.”

In a rather diplomatic fashion the Portuguese insisted that the relationship between him and the Spaniard is still intact after the pair had some exchange of words in Tel Aviv,Israel.

Further speaking on the spat the former Galacticos coach mentioned that everything has been solved with a kiss and a cuddle.

This weekend Chelsea plays Tottenham in white hart lane. Interesting to see if Chelsea can withstand the Kane storm and prove the Ivorian wrong.
