Jamshedpur FC left it late to secure a 1–1 draw against Sporting Club Delhi in the Indian Super League 2025–26, with Nikola Stojanović scoring in the closing moments to earn a point in New Delhi.

The match began with both sides showing intent, exchanging early chances. Jamshedpur looked dangerous from set-pieces, with Stojanović testing the goalkeeper, while SC Delhi also threatened through long-range efforts.

The breakthrough came in the 21st minute in favour of the hosts. A delivery into the box caused confusion in the Jamshedpur defence, and Joseph Sunny reacted quickest to fire a powerful shot into the top corner and give SC Delhi the lead.

Delhi continued to press for a second goal, while Jamshedpur tried to respond before the break. Mohammed Sanan and Raphael Bouli both had opportunities, but the visitors lacked the finishing touch as they went into half-time trailing.

The second half saw conditions become more difficult due to heavy rain, leading to a scrappy contest with limited clear chances. Despite the conditions, Jamshedpur pushed forward in search of an equaliser, with Stojanović coming close on multiple occasions.

Delhi nearly doubled their advantage in the 74th minute, but Albino Gomes made an important save to keep Jamshedpur in the game.

As the match approached its end, the visitors increased the pressure and finally found their breakthrough. With just moments remaining, Stojanović struck from outside the box, his effort taking a slight deflection before finding the net to make it 1–1.

Both teams looked for a late winner in the final moments, but neither could find the decisive goal as the match ended level, with Jamshedpur salvaging a crucial point through a late equaliser.
