Aditya’s stoppage time Double Seals Dramatic First Win for DK Flag Foundation
DK Flag Foundation produced a thrilling late comeback to secure their first victory of the Mumbai Premier League season, defeating Sellebrity FC 4–2 in a match full of twists and drama.
The game came alive in the first half, with DK Flag Foundation taking early control. Savio was the standout, scoring twice in quick succession in the 18th and 21st minutes to put DK two goals ahead. However, Sellebrity FC responded immediately. Just a minute after the second goal, a defensive mix-up saw DK defender Lungin score an own goal, bringing Sellebrity back into the contest. The momentum swung further when Sclachie found the net in the 23rd minute, levelling the score at 2–2 by halftime.
The second half was more balanced, with both sides pushing for a winner but struggling to convert chances. As the match seemed headed for a draw, DK Flag Foundation found a spark from the bench. Substitute Aditya emerged as the hero, scoring twice in stoppage time. He struck first in the 90+4 minute and followed it up just a minute later in the 90+5 minute, sealing a remarkable 4–2 win in dramatic fashion.
The result marks DK Flag Foundation’s first victory of the new MPL season and will give them a huge confidence boost going forward. Sellebrity FC showed strong character to fight back early but were left disappointed after conceding so late. For DK Flag Foundation, it was a day to remember, defined by belief and a sensational finish.
