Kamlesh, Tanmay shine with brace as MYJGMSC beat Sellebrity FC

In a spectacular display of football prowess, MYJGMSC roared to an emphatic 8-1 victory against Sellebrity FC in the latest Mumbai Premier League encounter, further solidifying their dominance in the competition.

The Mighty Lions, currently occupying the second position in the league, showcased a breathtaking performance that left an indelible mark on the field.

From the outset, MYJGMSC asserted their authority, with Captain Kamlesh Nadar leading the charge. The first half witnessed a relentless offensive, with Kamlesh’s opening goal in the 6th minute setting the tone for the game. Tanmay Talgaonkar capitalized on defensive lapses to secure the second goal within the next tow minutes as the mighty lions went 2-0 up within first ten minutes.

Shanon Pereira’s adept finish from Keegan Pereira’s free-kick made it 3-0 in the 16th minute. Post the drinks break, MYJGMSC continued the onslaught adding one more in the 34th minute when a brilliant collaboration between Harshal Karle and Tanmay saw the former whip in a cross that Tanmay rose the highest to connect and send it into the net making it 4-0. Few minutes later, Kamlesh’s header from another Keegan free-kick sealed a remarkable 5-0 advantage as the teams headed into halftime.

The final blow came from Adithyan, who impressively found the back of the net in the dying moments of the game, sealing an 8-1 victory for MYJGMSC.
