Mumbai Kenkre FC secures the services of Nepalese forward Anjan Bista

Mumbai Kenkre FC has announced the signing of Nepal International Anjan Bista for the remainder of the current I-League season.

Kenkre FC, who are currently fighting just above the relegation spot, is hoping that Bista’s signing will help them stay afloat and move up the league table. The team is currently 11th in the league with ten points from 12 matches, eight points above the relegation spot holders Sudeva Delhi.

The 24-year-old star, who recently signed with Church Boys United, will return to Nepal for the A Division League after the I-League season concludes in March.

Anjan Bista has had a successful career thus far, having made his first appearance for the Nepal national football team at the age of 16. With 52 appearances and 11 goals for Nepal and having featured in FIFA International Friendlies, SAFF Cup and World Cup qualifiers, Bista brings a wealth of experience to the Kenkre team at a very young age.

Kenkre FC has struggled for goals this season, scoring only 10 goals in 12 games. They will face league leaders Sreenidhi Deccan on January 23rd and will hope that Bista’s addition will help them secure a victory.

Bista will also have the opportunity to play against his fellow countryman Kiran Chemjong, who plays as a goalkeeper for RoundGlass Punjab FC. Kenkre FC and Punjab FC are set to face each other on February 1st. The match is expected to be a thrilling encounter as both teams fight to avoid relegation.

Mumbai Kenkre FC fans will be excited to see Anjan Bista in action, and the team will be counting on his experience and skills to help them win more and move up in the I-League table.
