In a riveting MFA Super League clash, Soccer Saga FC came from goal behind to turn the tide and secure a 3-1 win against Kenkre FC U19.

In a riveting Mumbai Super League clash, Soccer Saga FC came from goal behind to turn the tide and secure a 3-1 win against Kenkre FC U19.

The match kicked off with Soccer Saga asserting early dominance, creating opportunities that tested the Kenkre defense.

A ball into the Kenkre Box finds Allwyn Dsouza whose shot is saved by the Kenkre keeper the rebound falls for Fahed Sayed whose first time shot is blocked on the goal line by Kenkre defender, the rebound once again falls for Fahed but his final shot from a tight angle goes inches wide of the goal.

Moments later, another attack saw Soccer Saga hit the post from a corner attack, Kenkre clear the rebound and initiate a counter attack from which they find the net to take the lead.

Undeterred, Soccer Saga intensified their efforts, with Allwyn Dsouza orchestrating plays on the left side. A missed tap-in opportunity by Karthik Parmar added to the drama. The turning point came as a foul in the box awarded Soccer Saga a penalty just before halftime, converted flawlessly by Ranson Patel to level the score at 1-1.

The second half witnessed Soccer Saga’s early offensive charge, including headers narrowly missing the target. At the other end, Yash Nair’s free-kick tested Soccer Saga keeper Utkarsh Koli, and Hanzala Kapadia’s cross set up a chance for Atharva Rewal, narrowly missed.

Soccer Saga claimed the lead when Fahad Sayed, on the left wing, delivered a precise cross into the box. Kartik Parmar’s header found the back of the net, making it 2-1. Aniket then went close with a shot that brought a save from Kenkre Keeper however moments later a Corner ball to the far post finds Soham who shoots across the box , Aniket’s final shot slips through keeper’s hand and through to goal 3-1

The match showcased Soccer Saga’s dynamic attacking style, securing them the victory. With 14 points from 8 games, they stand at the 5th position, a mere 3 points away from the league leaders.
