He mentioned, “It is very good for us also, especially as we have been facing some top teams. We are happy to play in competitive situations like this right now.”

When asked about potential signings, Marquez focused on the ongoing pre-season training and the squad’s continuous improvement. “We are happy with the squad and the players are improving every week. It is not very polite to think and talk about needing other players right now,” he said, indicating his satisfaction with the current team dynamics.
Discussing the upcoming clash against Mohun Bagan, Marquez acknowledged the challenges posed by the formidable opponent. He noted, “Facing them in the semi-finals will be a very difficult challenge, but at the same time, it is also a fantastic chance to prepare for the ISL.” He emphasized the valuable learning experience that the team will gain from this encounter.
