Juventus to establish three football academies in India!

Big news for Indian football fans as the Italian champions are all set to start three football academies in Kerala.

The bianconeri include the likes of some of the best players in the world like Cristiano Ronaldo, Paulo Dybala etc.

This will be a big boost for the aspiring young players in Kerala and India. Juventus football club is opening these football clubs through their partner, Jovenes Estrella Internazionale (OPC) Pvt Ltd. The aim is to reach the Urban and Suburban parts of Kerala and help young and budding footballers.

The club stated on their official site, “An important debut: this is in fact the first Juventus Academy in India, which will start at the beginning of April. The project starts in the Kerala region, located south of the country, with three active locations in the cities of Trivandrum, Kochi and Kottayam. This is important because a Juventus Academy in a strategic country like India strengthens the brand’s presence in Asia, where the Academy project is already present in China, Thailand, Vietnam and Japan.”

Juventus academy Kerala has a structured programme developed by the Juventus football club delivered by experienced and qualified coaches trained by Juventus. The head coach and technical director will monitor the sessions. They will be visiting the academies initially.

This project will be strengthening the grassroots football ecosystem in India, and provide the finest facilities and mentors. The academies are being set up in three locations and run from private turfs in Trivandrum and Kochi and CMS college in Kottayam. They are also in talks of increasing the no.of academies slowly in the region.
