In the second half, Pillai took the lead when minutes after the hour mark a low cross from Daniel was latched on by Sanchit Singh who placed it accurately to the left of keeper to side his side 1-0 up. In the dying moments of the game, Thakur College found the equalizer when a ball from right flank was latched on by Dhawal Waghela before unleashing the powerful shot behind the keeper to make it 1-1.
