KSA Payyade semi-final report: Satya Vijaya, Karnatak SC to clash for Payyade title
Mumbai: Satya Vijaya SC penalized Karnataka Amateur SC by scoring a late winning goal to record a 1-0 win in the semi-final of the 24th Late Shri Ramanath Payyade Football Tournament 2019-2020 and played at the KSA ground, Cross Maidan.
Striker Tushar Poojary scored from a penalty to snatch victory for Satya Vijaya and a shot at the title.
Earlier, Karnataka Sports Club did not have to take the field or break into a sweat as their opponents Jaibharat Sports Club played truant as they did not report for the first semi-final. The match was awarded to Kantataka SC who will clash with Satya Vijaya in the final.
