Khelo India: Maharashtra qualifies to the Semi-Final
The Maharashtra U-21 team qualified to the Semi-Finals of the Khelo India Youth Games 2020 held at Guwahati, Assam.
Maharashtra were placed in Group-A alongside Meghalaya, Punjab, and Odisha. The team played out a commendable victory against Punjab on their first game and ended on equal terms against Meghalaya on the other. On yesterday’s final encounter, the Maharashtra U-21 team went down by a goal to lose the match 2-1. The solitary goal was netted by Sanket Salokhe for team Maharashtra.
Maharashtra qualified to the next round with 4 points from 3 games. In the Semi-Final clash, they are slated to play against Assam on the 20th of January. The match can be watched live on Star Sports & Hotstar at 1:00 PM.
