WIFA Women’s Football League: Pacangan FC ease past Commandos FC

Pacangan FC played out a three-star performance thumping three goals past Commandos FC in today’s WIFA Women’s Football League fixture.

Pacangan got off to an early lead through Grishama’s effort. She scored the goal at the 4th minute to give her team an early start. Commandos failed to equalise and Grishama’s goal separated both sides at the half time.

In the second half, Snehal Ghadge increased the scoreline for Pacangan FC at the 65th minute. Doubling the lead, Pacangan’s dominance lifted as Ambika Dange scored the third goal to kill the match. Commandos succumbed to fight back and the final whistle from the referee concluded the match in Pacangan’s favour. They bagged all three points scoring 3 goals past their opponents.

Pacangan’s victory came off late as they have bagged 5 points from 5 games and their qualification hopes to the next round seem feeble. Commandos FC fails to open their points tally after playing 4 games.
