MDFA Nadkarni Cup: Air India, UBI thump their opponents with ease
The Nadkarni Cup hosted Air India against FSI Sea View and UBI up against RSF. Both Air India and UBI emerged victorious in their respective games by a scoreline of 7-0 and 4-0.
Air India thoroughly dominated the game. They scored thrice before the half time. After the break, they went on to score 4 goals to thump an impressive victory against the FSI Sea View outfit. Rishikesh Shinde was the man to watch out for as he scored a hat-trick.
On the other hand, UBI had a decent outing. The scorecard displayed 4-0 in favour of UBI at the end of the day. They had their fair bit of chances to score more. The team failed to capitalize on many occasions where they could have scored and increased their lead. RSF tried to come back into the match via several free-kicks but failed to make a mark.
