Events Buffet to conduct Grassroots Cup 2019

The 2019 edition of Grassroots Cup will have four tournament for players from Under 8, 10, 12 and Under 14 age categories

The League cum knockout format will have 12 teams participating in each age group categories. There well be four groups with each team to get a minimum of 2 games guaranteed. Top 2 of each group qualifies for the quarterfinals.

Age categories: Under 8/10/12/14

Venue: Dream fields turf, Ryan global school Lokhandwala andheri West.

Date: 19th & 20th October 2019.

Entry Fee: 4000 Rs

Rules:

• 5+3 rolling substitute
• 12 Teams in each age group category to be played in a League/knockout format
• 4 groups of 3 teams
• Minimum 2 matches
• Top 2 teams from each group will qualify for quarterfinals (knockout).
• 20 minutes game (10 min each half)
• Trophy medals certificates for Winners and Runners up
• Player of the tournament and best goalkeeper trophy
• Participation certificates to all the players.

Age cut-off

• Under 8 – 2012/2013
• Under 10-2010/2011
• Under 12-2008/2009
• Under 14-2006/2007

Protest fee-1000/-(non refundable)

If any player found overage, team will be disqualified (without any refund)and will not be allowed to play any more matches further.

If player from an academy found overage, same academy, who have also participated in other age categories will also be disqualified (without any refund).

For example ABC academy played a overage player in u-8 category and have also participated in u-10 and U-12 so along with u-8, U-10 and U-12 will also be disqualified from the tournament (without any refund).

Verification documents

• Passport/Aadhaar card
• Birth certificate
• Latest School id
• Bonafide certificate
• Coaches are required to get any 2 document (original) from above for verification.
• No Xerox copies will be considered.

Last date of registration: 1-10-2019

Teams are requested to pay advance 2000/- to confirm your team registerations.
