Defending Champions Fleet Footers started off with a big win against lackluster Shelar FC while in the second game of the day, ND2 Soccer Starz hold Myrmidons Sporting club to a draw
Clobbering a total of 11 goals in the opening game of Borivali Premier League, the defending champions have shown they mean business this time again. Their statement of intent was visible with absolute dominating display against a hapless Shelar FC. Such was the dominating display that Shelar FC had no answer to it conceding 8 goals in the second half itself..
Goals were shared around among Collins, Sanjay Waghela, Johnson Mathew, Douglas Mureillo, Agnelo Picardo and Merwyn Fernandes as Fleet Footers found their footing very early in the tournament with this 11-0 rout.

In the second game of the day, Myrmidons Sporting Club took an early lead when Shekhar Bhattacharya converted an opportunity to add a goal in his team’s score sheet. Both teams headed into the break with just a goal separating them. In the second half, ND2 Soccer Starz were fired up and went in search of equaliser right from the word go. Their hard work was finally paid off when they found an equalizer late in the second half to share the spoils with Myrmidons Sporting club.
