4th edition of Borivali Premier League to commence from June 22

After a successful title defence last season, Fleet Footers FC looks to defend their title twice in a row as Borivali Premier League returns for its 4th season

Twelve teams will battle it out for the top honours in the 4th edition of Borivali Premier Football League (BPFL), organized by the Borivali Sports Foundation to be played at the St. Francis D’Assissi Ground, Borivali (W), from Saturday, June 22, 2019. Inaugural match of this season will be played between defending champions Fleet Footers F.C against Shelar F.C.

The tournament has been spread across two months with all the matches to be held on Weekends. Teams will be divided in to two groups with the top 2 of each, playing a semi-final. After completion of League phase 2 top teams from each group will play cross semi-Finals Winners will play the grand finale & losers will compete for the Hardline trophy. The semi-Finals are scheduled for 03/08/19 & the finals will be on 04/08/19

Every game will be played in accordance to FIFA law with a man of the match award to be given after each game, while at the end of the tournament various other Individual awards like Best Goalkeeper, ‘Golden Ball – Highest Scorer’, ‘Best Defender’, Player of the Tournament etc too will be given.

The 12 participating teams are divided into following groups:

Vibrant FC ND2 Soccer Starz

The tournament would witness top level players, who have played with I-League clubs and are now playing in MDFA Elite Division, Super Division and lower division clubs.

  1. Event: Borivali Premier Football League (4th Edition)
  2. Age Group: Open
  3. Date: Commencing from 22nd June 2019
  4. Duration: Time: 7:30 am to 6.00 pm (Saturdays – Morning 2 matches & Sundays full day)
  5. Venue: Francis D’Assisi School ground at I C Colony, Borivali (W).
