Ashrafalli nets 2 in Kenkre FC’s victory

Mumbai: Striker Ashrafalli Makandar scored once in each to steer Kenkre FC to a fluent 2-0 win against a young Iron Born – CFCI  in an Elite Division match of the Rustomjee-MDFA League 2019-2020 and played at the Neville D’Souza ground, Bandra on Friday.

Two goals in the dying minutes of either half gave Kenkre FC a comfortable 2-0 win. Makandar broke the deadlock with the opening goal in the 44th minute before doubling the lead and completing his brace in the 85th minute to complete Kenkre’s victory.

Earlier, opportunistic goal-scorer Sanket Humbe scored all the four goals as Feugo Tormento blanked Bharat FC 4-0 in a Second Division match played at the St. Xavier’s ground, Parel.
