Ambitious Football Academy to open new centre in Andheri

Ambitious Football Academy will be inaugurating their new centre tomorrow (August 14) at Andheri West, Mumbai

Around two years ago, city-based India international footballer Steven Dias along with his club teammates, former state skippers Santosh Koli and Vijith Shetty and in collaboration with KSA started Ambitious Football Academy at Karnataka Sporting Association ground, Churchgate.

The academy has since grown to have more than 100 players and will now be opening its 4th centre in the city. The Andheri centre will be catering to U8-U16 footballers only. The club aims to build a squad for U8, U10, U12 , U14 and U16 team that will participate in various age group competitions across the city. Opening the centre at Andheri will undoubtedly attract many aspiring footballers due to its popularity in the vicinity.

Currently the academy fields a team in MDFA 3rd Division while the youth squad participates in MDFA Yuva President League. Ambitious FA has been in stunning from this season remaining unbeaten and topped the group to qualify for the next round.

The training session at the Sports Square (their new centre) will be held on every Monday, Wednesday and Friday (7:00 PM to 8:00 PM).
