2020 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers: Faruk Chaudhary, Pronay Halder released ahead of games against Oman, Qatar

The Indian National team is on a preparatory camp in Goa for the upcoming FIFA World Cup 2020 qualifiers.

Defenders Salam Ranjan Singh, Anwar Ali and Jerry Lalrinzuala, strikers Farukh Choudhary and Jobby Justin and midfielder Pronay Halder have been released from the 34 men squad.

The men’s national team has been drawn in Group E in Asian Qualifiers with Qatar, Oman, Bangladesh and Afghanistan.

India will play their first match against Oman on September 5, 2019. They will face Qatar next on 10th September, Bangladesh on 15th October and Afghanisthan on 14th November.

MIDFIELDERS: Nikhil Poojari, Udanta Singh, Anirudh Thapa, Raynier Fernandes, Vinit Rai, Sahal Abdul Samad, Amarjit Singh, Brandon Fernandes, Lallianzuala Chhangte, Halicharan Narzary, Ashique Kuruniyan
