PlayOn to organize U-12 and U-16 tournament in Mira Road

PlayOn – a Sports Event management company is organizing a tournament for U-12 and U-16 kids which will be played at P.G Vora Turf Arena in Mira Road. It will be a 6-a side game for U-12 and 5-a side for U-16 players with the winning team getting away with 12,000 Rs. and a glittering trophy.

PlayOn went on to describe Mira Road as a fairly untouched area with plenty of potential, and also added that along with promoting grassroots football it is one of their objectives to provide significant opportunities to the kids.

“Being involved in grassroots football is a very rewarding experience. Improving young players technically is one challenge, but contributing to a youngster’s personal development is also a fundamental goal.” a statement released by PlayOn regarding the grassroots programmes.

The Sports Event management company is looking forward to educate, inspire, mobilize youth in the sport of football and also to enable the level of sport to improve the country.

The U-12 games will be played on 16th and 17th July from 10:00am to 06:00pm, whereas the U-16 games will played on 23rd and 24th July at the same time.
