Shubham Chippa leads dominant Dadar Parsee HS to MSSA 4th Division glory

Dadar Parsee Youth Academy become the new MSSA U-16 Boys 4th Division Champions by defeating St Thomas Academy 3-1 in the Penalties of the thrilling final held at MSSA Grounds on 11 September.

A strong team faced the other in the MSSA U-16 Boys 4th Division finals which resulted in bouts of attacks and Counter attacks from both Dadar Parsee and St Thomas.

In the Initial stages of the game, Dadar Parsee were attacking continuously and valiant St Thomas Academy were able to hold Dadar Parsee by the end of first half.

Meet Jain the top scorer of the MSSA U-16 Boys 4th Division was pursuing the ball from the opening minutes of the game. The intense second half witnessed most of his chances either hitting the crossbar or being punched safely by St Thomas GoalKeeper, Ishaan Singh.

Ishaan Singh displayed some stellar performance and was heavily cheered by parents and kids of St Thomas Academy who were present to witness the Finals. Ishaan despite being ill played the match with medication and made some praise worthy saves in the late second half to deny Dadar Parsee chance to score and force them to test their fate in the Penalties.

The Penalties were even more interesting as the regular keepers of St Thomas (Ishaan Singh) and Dadar Parsee (Aurash Irani) were given rest and in their place the leading strikers of both the sides took over the Keeping responsibility. Shubham Chippa wore the gloves for Dadar Parsee while for St Thomas, Hrithik Kuckian came in place of Ishaan.

The gamble worked in favor of Dadar Parsee as Shubham Chippa was able to distract St Thomas players who failed to score only exception being Hrithik Kuckian the only scorer for his team in the Penalties. For the Champions Dadar Parsee, Meet Jain, Shubham Chippa and Devansh Haria scored to guide Dadar Parsee to glory.

While, St Thomas Academy became the runners up in a closely contested finals and were the only team to break Dadar Parsee’s cleansheet record of this season.
