Magical Malvani SC continue marauding march as Dadar XI become the latest casualty

On 14th October, 2015 Malvani S.C thrashed Dadar XI 4-0 at St Xaviers Ground, Parel in the 2nd Division of Mumbai District Football Association. Maxy D’Souza twin strikes, in form David D’Souza’s ‘corner’ goal and Moheeb Hussain’s goal led Malvani S.C to a cruising victory.
The winner of last season’s Divison 3rd of Mumbai District Football Association (MDFA) left Dadar XI speechless when both faced each other at St Xaviers Football Ground at Parel. Malvani S.C who just won their sixth consecutive game after defeating Dadar XI has a strong control over Group D of Division 3.
Malvani S.C came into this match following their impressive 2-0 victory over Falcons (Mulund) and they surely didn’t disappoint any of the spectators today too.
It was evident that Malvani S.C will try to dominate from the start itself as they have always done. Maxy and David D’Souza proved to be the biggest threat to Dadar XI as ran riot for the whole match and delivered an impressive performance which has surely made their gaffer, Robert Chettiar a proud coach.
It took Malvani S.C just twenty four minutes to open their account, Maxy D’Souza neat strike went into the bottom corner giving the mighty Malvani S.C a 1-0 lead.
Four minutes later, their set piece taker David D’Souza just had a déjà vu moment when he scored directly from a corner just like he did against Falcons in the previous match. Robert Chettiar boys were showing no intent to stop scoring as they went 2-0 up.
Into the second half, Malvani S.C struck again. Maxy D’Souza who scored the opener had just score his second of the game as his powerful effort nestle past the goalkeeper.
It was only 47th minute of the game and the score line just seemed to be harsh on Dadar XI.
Dadar XI were left in anguish when just after a minute Moheeb Hossain strike gave them a 4-0 lead which ended any hopes of making a comeback.
3-0, 4-0, 7-0, 3-0, 2-0 and 4-0, this is Malvani S.C’s score line of their previous matches which shows their domination in Division 2.
Their attack has been fantastic as their defence who are yet to concede a single goal at the back.
Robert Chettiar’s team has already earned 18 points in many games and they are looking clear contenders to gain promotion to Division 1
