D.K Pharma holds Bombay FC to a 1-1 draw

On 14th October, 2015 D.K Pharma and Bombay FC had to share the outcome as goal from Bhavya Jain and Shubham for their respective teams earned both the outfits a hard earned point in the 1st Division of Mumbai District Football Association (MDFA).

Bombay FC had an impressive start as Ankit Dalvi and Bhavya Jain forced D.K Pharma’s goalkeeper few saves just inside first six minutes as they looked to find the opening goal.

Just three minutes later, Bombay FC scored as Bhavya Jain slotted it home from Johann Barretto’s impressive through ball.

D.K Pharma’s gritty defence somehow managed to keep Bombay FC wingers at bay as the latter kept attacking from both the flanks.

D.K Pharma had an improved second half as they kept more ball possession and created many chances, more than what Bombay FC did in second half.

Their hard work finally paid off when Shubham scored a thunderous goal when just seven minutes of play was left.

Selva’s delightful cross found Shubham who volleyed past Bombay FC goalkeeper, levelling the score at 1-1.

Bombay FC could have won in the dying minutes when Aditya Bane came close to grab a winner as his effort went just wide from the far post.

Both the teams had to share the point in the end.
