Kapadia Nagar and Clint S.C settle for 1-1 Draw

Kapadia Nagar & Clint S.C settled for 1-1 draw in the 3rd division match of MDFA (Mumbai District Football Association) at St Xavier’s Ground, Parel on 14 April 2015.
In the 3rd minute Clint S.C got a good chance to prove themselves and score. Eustace Saldhana got the control over the ball and skipped two players in the direction of the goal. He shot from 2 yards but it went over the cross ball as it was a short range shot and it was shot with more intensity.
Clint S.C’s Pramod Shetty shot a free kick in the 5th minute, Sachin A. from the same team headed the shot towards the goal but it rebounded as it hit the goalpost, a good chance for them to score.
Lordstern (Maddy) Suarelz from Clint S.C shot from left into the target in the 10th minute but the goalkeeper made a save and it was directed towards the left. They missed all the chances which were attained by them.
After the 10 minutes there was a change in the tempo of the game. Both the teams were trying hard to score.
Kapadia Nagar F.C. (K.N.F.C) made attempts to score in the 13th minute. Faiyaz Khan put a flighter from the midfield in the direction of the goal; it did not make road into the goal and went wide towards left.
Till then the game was dominated by Clint S.C and they got the maximum chances to make an attempt.
Taha’s efforts got the first goal for K.N.F.C’s in the 18th minute. He shot from 6yards on the target and there was no defender to defend and the goalkeeper failed to make a save. He gave a chip and the ball went into the goal.
In the 21st minute Clint S.C’s Clyde Fernandez gave a cross at Lordstern Suarelz. who ran with the ball in the direction of the goal but lost control and the ball went outside the field.
At the end of the first half K.N.F.C were leading 1-0, the game which was totally in the hands of Clint S.C changed when K.N.F.C scored their goal in the 18th minute.
In the 28th minute, Lordstern S. skipped many players and dragged the ball near 2 yards. He shot from 2 yards but his attempt failed as the goalkeeper leaped to his left and made a save.
Clint S.C had to wait till the second half to make their move and accomplish a goal. Clint S.C’s Sheldon Sharma gave a cross at Lordstern Suarelz who tapped to his left and gave a chip at Deon Rebello who was at 2 yards. He shot the target in the 30th minute. The technique of passing the ball confused the goalkeeper and he failed to make a save.
After 10 minutes K.N.F.C got a free kick. K.N.F.C’s Zoheb Shah shot from 6 yards. His shot sailed over the defending players but it failed to hit the target. They failed to score as it was a slow shot.
In the 45th minute K.N.F.C’s goalkeeper made a good save. He raised his hand to stop the shot which was shot by Clint S.C’s Lordstern Suarelz. It rebounded and went over the cross bar.

In the 48th minute Clint F.C’s Lordstern Suarelz shot from 2 yards but it went over the cross bar.
With the full time whistle the game ended, and the teams had to settle for 1-1. In the earlier match Clint S.C’s Lordstern had alone bagged 4 goals against RCF and helped his side win the game.
