Compeanros B hold on to a draw against Our Lady of Fatima

In a close encounter in 2nd division, Compeanros B hold on to 0-0 draw with Our Lady of Fatima, held at Xaviers ground, Parel.

Both the team had their opportunities in first half with couple of saves from both the goalkeepers, Alister D’Souza and Rahul Prasad respectively.

Compeanros B and Our Lady of Fatima both dominated the first half, they kept cancelling it each other out for not only the first half but also second half. Peter Robert, Neville D’Cunha, Melroy Fernandes all of the three was a standout as they had a very good game.

Peter Robert kept creating chances for the boys in red and yellow but Our Lady of Fatima’s stubborn backline didn’t allowed any of the Compeanros B attackers a chance at goal.

In the second half both the team lacked the energy they showed in first half and it turned out to be quite dull affair.

Not many chances were created in second half as the defenders from both the teams kept doing their job perfectly.

Compeanors B’s attacker Sheldon Miranda, who could’ve scored easily there wasted an easy chance when his shot didn’t connect properly and ended being in goalkeeper’s safe hand.

In the third minute of stoppage time, Jahind Pal of Our Lady of Fatima blew a golden chance which could’ve won it for his side as he got outrun while dribbling inside the box.
