2nd loss for Aadhar pratishthan in the MDFA women’s league

Mumbai, January 30 2015: The fifth match in the ongoing MDFA Women’s League was held at Karnataka Sports Association ground, Aadhar Pratishtan suffered yet another defeat in the MDFA Women’s League. Companeroes won the match defeating Aadhar Pratishthan 4-0. Companeroes chose pressing as their tactic, which proved to be successful. The ball hardly crossed the half-way line in the entire game.

In the 8th minute Rochello Countinho took a corner kick which was successfully converted into a goal by Madonna Fernandes. The ball went straight in as the Aadhar Pratishthan defenders looked in awe. Aadhar Pratishthan failed to mark Companeroes strikers and it had to pay for it heavily by conceding 3 more goals.

Rebecca Rodrigues scored a half volley, in the 16th minute after receiving a pass from her right wing player. The lone defender Shannon Martis was the only one standing beyond the half-way line with goalkeeper and deterring Aadhar Pratishthan players for scoring.

Third goal scored was by Summer Gonsalves 4 minutes from half time. The goal keeper jumped to capture the volley but failed helping companeroes clinch a 3-0 lead over Aadhar Pratishthan.

Shirley Sequira entered in the second half trying to fill the hole left by Racheal Demello who had received a red card. She became the playmaker and soon scored a goal in the 35th minute after, a short pass from Ankita Sapre making the final score to be 4-0 till the final whistle blew.
