In a Mumbai Super League clash, Maharashtra Oranje FC emerged victorious with a convincing 3-0 win over Young Boys FC, propels their position to the top of the Group B league table.

First Half Highlights:
The game kicked off with Maharashtra Oranje FC asserting their dominance from the start. In the 15th minute, Sahil Shaikh delivered a precision ball behind the defense line, with Egan then setting up Pranjal Yadav, who calmly slotted the ball into the net to break the deadlock.

Oranje continued their relentless attack, with Prateek Thakur coming close in a one-on-one situation that was expertly saved. Egan Fernandes tried his luck with a curling shot that narrowly missed the target.

In the 34th minute, a handball inside the box led to a penalty for Oranje. Egan Fernandes stepped up and clinically placed the ball into the keeper’s left, extending Oranje’s lead to 2-0.

Second Half Highlights:
The attacking prowess of Oranje FC persisted after the water break. In the 54th minute, a well-executed through ball put Egan Fernandes in a one-on-one situation with the keeper, and he calmly placed it to the left to make it 3-0.

Pranjal Yadav continued to trouble the Young Boys’ defense, testing the keeper with a shot on target, which was skillfully saved. Young Boys’ Uzair Ansari denied the second attempt as the defender cleared the rebound.

Daksh Malhotra tried a long-range effort, but the Young Boys’ keeper was up to the task, ensuring his team remained in contention.

With a third consecutive clean sheet, Oranje FC sealed a 3-0 victory, claiming the top spot in the Group B league table. The team remains unbeaten in six games, boasting an impressive record of five wins and one draw.

Maharashtra Oranje FC’s goalkeeper, Raaquib Merchant, played a crucial role in securing another Cleansheet, underscoring the team’s defensive solidity. This commanding performance positions Oranje FC as a formidable contender in the ongoing Mumbai Super League.
