RoundGlass Punjab FC Announces Squad for Reliance Foundation Development League

Mohali, March 16, 2023: Hero I-League Champions RoundGlass Punjab FC has announced their preliminary squad for the upcoming Reliance Foundation Development League. The team will be competing in the regional qualifiers against Sudeva Delhi FC, Rajasthan United FC, and Garhwal FC. 

The first match of the regional qualifiers took place on March 16, 2023, with RoundGlass Punjab FC playing Garhwal FC for a 1-1 draw. Singmayum Shami scored the goal for RoundGlass Punjab FC. 

The preliminary squad of 30 members is a mix of experience and youth as seven First Team players are a part of the side to bolster the youngsters’ confidence. “The Reliance Foundation Development League will provide great exposure to the young boys of our Academy as they will have the chance to play against some of the best clubs in the country. With more matches to play, I believe the boys will have the opportunity to showcase their talent and grow as professional players,” said Nikolaos Topoliatis, Football Director, RoundGlass Punjab FC. 

The preliminary squad for RoundGlass Punjab FC is as follows: 

Goalkeepers: Abujam Penand Singh, Jaskarenvir Singh, Ayush Deshwal.  

Defenders: Manav Singh, Pramveer, Mohammed Sohail Khan, Birash Rai, M Leidong, Karish Soram, Gurpreet Singh, Tekcham Abhishek Singh.  

Midfielders: Ngarin Shaiza, Tourangbam Zaithleen Singh, Blair Mungsianthang, Bishu Sharma, Khaiminlal Khongsai, Singmayum Shami, Manglenthang Kipgen, Tongbram Maheson Singh, Thangjam Albert, Longjam Dinar Singh.  

Forwards: Irakant Singh Hijam, Yendrembam Boby Singh, Vishal Yadav, Stephen Ngurchhuanmawia, Konsam Sanathoi Singh, Ashangbam Aphaoba Singh, Omang Dodum, Muhammad Suhail F., Kanwar Rudraansh Singh.
