IKF announce partnership with PFSA to promote grassroots football in India

India Khelo Football – One of the Biggest People led Grassroots initiative in India has collaborated with UK based PFSA – World’s largest Scout Association to develop a complete grassroots ecosystem in India.

India Khelo Football (IKF) is a non-profit platform started in January of this year to provide kids from across India with a fair chance to pursue their dream of playing football internationally. Hence, they are on a mission of creating a global platform for kids to excel and live their dream of becoming a professional football player.

IKF has started to make a concrete pathway that is supported by the parents as well; so that their talent achieves the heights that he/she deserves by holding Tournaments in four cities already (Delhi, Chandigarh, Hyderabad, and Kanpur).

IKF will be partnering with PFSA to work towards the same goal of uplifting the football scene in India by increasing the number of opportunities and help Indian Football grow by creating various football development platforms. This partnership has been announced on the 24th of April and it has already created a lot of buzz and excitement around it.

The PFSA (Professional football Scouting Association) was founded in 2011 by a group of renowned Premier League Scouts, and is  one of the most effective ways to learn scouting and developing football worldwide. It is a pitstop for enthusiasts who want to pursue a career in football by providing them with knowledge of how to pick out the right talent. It is an institution aiming towards looking for people to endorse the hard-working football players who are not getting recognition or the opportunity to showcase their talent. PFSA provides an individual with the background on how to recognize and acquire this talent to help a player achieve their dreams of playing football worldwide.

Big English clubs like Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur, and many more have worked with PFSA to improve their talent recognition, which is why they are considered to be at the top level of representing the sport. Their partnership, therefore, with IKF is a turning point for the India’s football scene. Today is the day we start working towards the goal of taking Indian talent to the big international leagues and aim to see an Indian player in the starting eleven of the top European clubs.

The current Indian football situation is growing each day with players coming from various backgrounds and providing the nation with such diverse talent. Every city in India could have its own Sunil Chhetri and Bhaichung Bhutia; all we have to do is a little work at the foundation to bring a change in the current situation. India Khelo Football partnering with PFSA (Professional football Scouting Association) along with ProSoccerGlobal (headed by Manchester City FC Head Scout) is that chance for our country to exhibit this great piece of talent in Europe that our footballers possess. Our sources suggested, they together will be launching various programs in India in May.
