ONGC romp to another win, Tanmay Rai scores four as FSI Seaview win big
A four goal spree from Tanmay Rai propelled FSI SEaview to a mammoth 6-0 win while former champions ONGC produced a determined combined performance and charged to a 5-1 win against Union Bank of India in an Elite Division match of the Rustomjee-MDFA League 2019-2020 and played at the Cooperage ground on Tuesday.
Striker Himanshu Patil led ONGC’s charge to victory with two goals while Sunil Lohar, Sudhakar Ranjan and Shishir P., all chipped in with a goal each. Union Bank of India started well and scored a goal through Ninad Chavan but the defence crumbled under constant pressure form ONGC strike force.
Meanwhile in other Elite division encounter, FSI Seaview registered a mammoth 6-0 win over Bombay Muslims. Tanmay Rai four goal streak was well supported by Kaustubh Sardal’s first half brace as FSI Seaview outclassed their opponent completely.
