NIT Trichy presents 3rd edition of Festember Football League
Festember Football League – the annual football tournament hosted by NIT, Trichy enters into its third edition and will be held on 22-23 June
Festember is a annual cultural festival of the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli, founded by NITT students in 1975, It has now become one of the largest festivals in South India
Since 2017, the institute has been hosting an annual Festember Football League. This year the third edition of the Tournament will be held on 22nd and 23rd of June 2019, in DAV Girls’ School Gopalapuram, Chennai. This is an open category of 5s football tournament. A team should consist of a minimum of six (5+1) and maximum of eight (5+3) players.
The tournament will be played in a group and knockout format, with the winners of each group going forward to the knockouts stage. Each match will be of 20 minutes with a break of 2 minutes in between.

- This is Open Category of Football Tournament
- Each Team should have 5 Main Players with 3 Substitutes
- Matches will be conduct on Group and Knockout basis
