BPFL Round 2 update: Milan, Myrmidons, Fleet footers grab wins
After the opening day draw, Myrmidons came back strong to grab a impressive 4-0 win against Gorai FC while at the other end, Milan club and Fleet footers FC make it two wins in a row.
After a close win against Gorai FC in the opening game of the campaign, Fleet footers came back with an impressive performance to completely annihilate their opponent winning by a whopping nine goal margin. K Amin, Dane Pereira, K Pereira, Tushar poojary, Ashish Chavan and Grenville Murzello all chipped in with goals with Keegan grabbing four of them.
Game 1: Fleet Footers FC 9 – 0 Friends FC
After the 1-1 draw against Ruthless FC in the opening game of the campaign courtesy of a late equaliser, an impressive display of football from Myrimidons SC saw the side smashing 4 goals past a hapless Gorai FC. Mithlesh Kasare struck a brace while Harsh Solanki and Kunal Patel both chipped in with one each.
Game 2: Myrmidons FC 4 – 0 Gorai FC
In the third game of the day, Goals from Siddharth Nayak on either side of the break gave Milan Club a comfortable 2-0 win. Coming on the back of a huge 9-0 win in the opening game, Milan tried to continue the momentum but were unable to find easy gaps in the Vibrants FC defence. However, a clumsy foul inside the box half way through the first half gave Milan a spot-kick which was duly converted by Siddarth Nayak.
