Pratik Koli nets hat-trick in Union Bank’s win
Striker Pratik Koli was at his brilliant best and scored a fine hat-trick to lead Union Bank of India to a 3-2 victory against Mumbai Customs in an Elite Division match of the MDFA (Mumbai District Football Association) League – 2014-15, played at the Cooperage ground, on Thursday morning.
After a barren first half, Koli struck the opening goal in the very first minute on resumption and added the second goal in the 60th minute. Customs fought back strongly and managed to restore parity when Sagar Bedekar found the net in the 72nd minute and seasoned Francisco Salin scored the equaliser in the 86th minute.
However, Koli was once again on target netting the third goal to complete his hat-trick and to seal the win for the bankers.
Results – Elite Div: Union Bank of India 3 Pratik Koli 46th, 60th, 90th) beat Mumbai Customs 2 (Sagar Bedekar 72nd, Francisco Salin 86th).
